EPL

Arsenal stay the course , nothing flashy but they get it done, still lets wait to see what happens with Palace. City starting to look like City again,,,maybe. Liverpool , off again but is Man U really back I am not so sure. Brighton did well to get the points vs Newcastle. Sunderland keep the dream alive. Villa start to wake up topping Spurs. Chelsea send big Ange packing. Brentford and to Westham’s woes.

Interesting observation watching Sunderland and Brentford, both did business in the summer window for central midfielders, veterans Jordan Henderson and Granit Xhaka. These might have been two of the best and most influential moves I have seen so far. I am not saying these will help either team win the league but when watching both teams you can see they are the heartbeat of their teams.

Bundesliga

Bayern Munich are going to run away. Harry Kane unless he gets hurt is going to have an amazing year. With Diaz on the left they have added a new dynamic making them more dangerous than they already were with Olise on the right. And remember Musiala and Davies will be back soon, just hand them the league now.

Serie A

AC MIlan , with out Pulisic and Rabiot , Leao steps in and gets it done. NIce to see I must say lets see if they can keep it up. Inter have a new hero in Bonny , Roma looked a bit flat if I am to be honest. Como made and statement with the win over Juve, Fabregas and Paz will not be there long.

La Liga

Regular programing , Barca and Real

Champions League

PSG rolled over Bayer, think we expect that these days. They have so many weapons. Barca rolled over Olympiacos not shocking. Liverpool got back on track with a good win over Frankfurt , Hugo Ekitike came back to haunt his former club and Florian Wirtz showed he is coming round with a few assists. Bayern, Madrid and Inter nothing too shocking work done. If there was a match that may have stood out it was the Arsenal / Atletico Madrid match. A 4 – nill win versus a Simeone side always has to be given attention. Especially being such a high profile clash. Arsenal were good last year and their form continues, they are a good watch.

MLS

Wow, Chicago , well done! To say they played well is an understatement, the blew Orlando off the pitch. In short and “pun” intended they played with more “fire” !!

Portland v RSL closer match Portland finished their chances , I thought RSL had more of the ball but in the final third just didn’t pull the trigger and if they did were not clinical enough. This was a good match up, in fact I enjoyed both match’s on the evening , what a way to start the playoffs!!

Expect more next time , spent to much time getting the site/blog up

Happy watching!!
